My name is Atka and I am a Certified Tantric Journey Educator and a practitioner of Emotional Detox through deep tantric-tao bodywork. I am also an advanced Tantra Practitioner accredited by Academy of Modern Tantra, and I have participated in experiential workshops with Daniel Odier, Jan Day, Andrew Barnes, Transformational Breathwork Co., ISTA and others.
I believe that touch is one of the most overlooked innate resources that we have for health and healing. Through our hectic modern lifestyle and digitally focused world we often reflect, try to make sense of and give meaning to our life in our heads, forgetting that fundamentally we are mammals who are hard wired to work physically, participate, engage physically, relax, have fun, be creative, and heal through touch with each other.
Through my practical training, completed in 2017, and my experience to date I can effectively hold the space for clients and aid them in releasing physical and emotional tension in order to optimise their well-being, self esteem and overcome any difficulties they are experiencing including those of sexual dysfunction. My attuned touch and presence can be instrumental in helping release some deeply held trauma and in transforming it, strengthening emotional stability and building resilience. My work focuses upon relaxation, release and reconnection of the entire body, mind and spirit through deep tissue Tantric and Tao bodywork and intimacy work.
Clients often seek my work to address chronic pain, stress-related illness, addictions, depression, manage stress or for sexual dysfunction. Though most people are not aware of it, their suffering can be the result of unresolved past negative experiences or even the mind programming through what they read, watch and believe. Over the years of working as a Tantric Bodyworker and through my training I have discovered that healing begins with how we relate to ourselves inside, and that humans are wired to experience touch as a primary asset for health and recovery. This, in conjunction with emotions being stored in the body, not the mind, is what makes my work so effective and deeply healing.
As a therapist my inner awareness and intuitive, listening touch help me to direct clients' release of stagnant negative emotions and to explore the implicit meaning of their bodily sensations, and to rebuild a relationship with their authentic self.
